Italy didn't understand what was going on. His 2p had been arguing with Luciano and the next thing he knew he was getting dragged away by the 2p, who claimed they were getting married. When the 2p had asked, Italy only agreed, to scared to say no to him.
Now, he just stood there while Hungary fixed his dress. He really didn't want to go through with this, but did he have a choice? If he refused 2p Italy, things could get really ugly.
"There. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Hungary asked as she looked at him worriedly. "It's not to late to back out."
Italy put on a fake smile and nodded. "Si, I'm going to go through with this."
"Alright," she said as she led him out. He followed her and he heard the band playing here comes the bride. He walked down the isle with Hungary, holding her arm tightly. He felt the tears well up in his eyes, but he pushed them back.
He let go of Hungary's arm and walked up the steps and faced his 2p. He just stood there, violet eyes looking into amber ones. The priest began to speak.
"We are gathered together on this beautiful afternoon to share with Italy and 2p Italy as they exchange vows of their everlasting love. At this time, I'll ask you, Italy, and you, 2p Italy, to face each other and take each other's hands."
Italy took 2p Italy's hands in his hands, trying to keep still. All he wanted to was run out of there, but he couldn't do that.
"2p Italy, will you take Italy to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish him friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
"I will," 2p said, a hint of a wicked smile on his face.
"Italy, will you take 2p Italy to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
Italy took a deep breath before answering, "I will."
"You may now kiss the bride," the priest said. 2p pulled Italy close and kissed him, and Italy kissed back. He let the tears spill over at this point, knowing there was no going back. This was how he was going to spend the rest of his life, married to his 2p.
