Playground school bell rings again
Rain clouds come to play again
Italy was sitting in a corner, crying his eyes out. It was just one of those days where he was left alone, with his thoughts and memories. He rubbed his eyes roughly before more tears began to fall out. He wanted the memories to go away, he wanted his thoughts to disappear, he wanted the hurtful words to have never been said. He leaned against the wall, sobbing loudly.
Has no one told you she's not breathing
Hello I'm your mind giving you some one to talk to
"Italy, what has gotten you so upset?" Italy's head shot up when he heard a voice, but no one was there. He titled his head, thinking he imagined it when he heard it again.
"I'm not out there, I'm inside your head. Tell me, why are you so upset?" the voice asked again.
"I... Who are you?" he asked.
"I'm Feliciano," the voice said. Suddenly, he was pulled out of consciousness. He opened his eyes quickly when his back hit the wall of the dream realm. He looked up and saw another him, except with red eyes. Italy just stared at him in confusion.
"Now, tell me why you are upset," Feliciano said as he kneeled down beside him. Italy looked away and didn't answer him.
If I smile and don't believe
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
"I-It's nothing... I'm fine."
"I know more than anybody that isn't true," Feliciano said as he sat beside Italy.
"This is just a dream... right?" Italy asked, noticing that this looked nothing like the dream realm. It looked like he was still in his bedroom.
"If you want to call it that, then yes," Feliciano said as he pulled Italy in his lap. "Please smile, you look so sad."
"I don't want to."
Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken
Hello, I'm the lie living for you so you can hide
They sat in silence for a while. Italy laid his head against Feliciano's shoulder. He thought it was weird how it felt more real than a dream.
"Why are you here?" Italy finally asked and Feliciano shrugged.
"Just giving you some company. I just want to make you feel better," he said, rubbing away the fresh tears that fell from Italy's eyes. Italy turned his head away. Italy froze. That felt to real to be a dream.
Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping
Hello, I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday
"T-This isn't a dream is it?" Italy asked as he pulled away. Feliciano smiled wickedly and held him close to him.
"So, you finally realized it wasn't a dream," Feliciano said. "No need to panic my dear. I can make those memories go away. I can make the hurtful words disappear. Just stay with me, forget about everyone else."
"Please make them go away," Italy said without hesistation. He wanted everything to disappear, he wanted it all to go away. Feliciano grinned and kissed him. Italy kissed back and before he knew it, everything had escaped him. He no longer knew he was or what he used to be. All that was left was Feliciano, the madman who had made all his pain go away.
