The sea's evaporating
Though it comes as no surprise
These clouds we're seeing
They're explosions in the sky
It seems it's written
But we can't read between the line
Feliciano stared out the window at the night sky, listening to the sounds of Italy's breathing as he slept. There was no moon to shed any light in the room, as if hope had left him with no choice. He knew he would have to leave soon. The 1P universe couldn't handle him here and soon he wouldn't be able to return to the 2P world. If that happened... Well who knows?
Hush, it's okay
Dry your eye
Dry your eye
Soulmate dry your eye
Dry your eye
Soulmate dry your eye
Cause soulmates never die
He walked over to the bed and laid down. He pulled Italy close to him and he let out a small noise before wrapping his arms around his 2P counterpart. Feliciano closed his eyes, but he couldn't sleep. He knew it shouldn't, but the thought of leaving Italy bothered him. He wouldn't admit it, but he was attached to his 1P. He even knew this affection extended to what others call love, but he couldn't admit that. He had to leave, so he had to keep this feeling bottled up. For once, he didn't want to hurt Italy, at least not like this.
This one world vision
Turns us in to compromise
What good's religion
When it's each other we despise
Damn the government
Damn their killing, damn their lies
The next morning, he left without telling Italy. He didn't want to hurt him or see him cry. He walked to the "portal" as he called it. It was almost completely closed. He was about to step through when he heard Italy's voice not to far away.
"Feliciano! Please don't go!" Italy cried as he hugged Feliciano from behind. "Don't leave me, please..."
"I have to Italy."
"No you don't! Please stay!"
Hush, it's okay
Dry your eyes
Dry your eyes
Soulmate dry your eyes
Dry your eyes
Soulmate dry your eyes
Cause soulmates never die
"Italy, it's okay," he said as he pulled away and turned around. He put his hand on Italy's cheek and used his thumb to wipe away the tears that spilled over. "Please don't cry."
"How can you tell me that? You're leaving me!" Italy said as more tears spilled over.
"I know, but you'll be okay. Italy, this is truly for the best."
"That isn't true... I need you here with me," Italy said before he rubbed his eyes. Feliciano kissed his forehead softly.
Soulmates never die
Never die
Soulmates never die
Never die
"Everything is going to be alright. I'm sure we'll meet again some day," Feliciano said and Italy gave him a look of doubt.
"Liar. How can you be sure of that?" he asked, but Feliciano didn't answer him. He turned away from him and looked at the portal. He stepped through and it began to close. He turned to look back at Italy to say once last thing him. The one thing he needed to hear before the portal closed for good.
"Soulmates never die."

APH - GerIta ~Nightmares~
Italy stands frozen in the middle of the meeting room. His hands hang uselessly by his sides, his mouth is parted in surprise and his hazel eyes are open for once. He must have heard Japan incorrectly. He must have. Japan wouldn't say such mean things, right?
The Japanese nation watches him apathetically, his hands folded on the table in front of him, his expectant eyes watching Italy's every move.
“Wh-What do you-a mean, Japan?” Italy stutters, shaking his head in confusion.
Japan sighs and rubs at his temples, gracing Italy with an irate glare so uncommon on the nation's face.
“We do not need you here, Itary. Your inco

"Ring Ring. Ring Ring." Spain's laptop rang out.
"Hm? Who could be Skyping me at this hour?" He wondered, being that it was 1 in the morning. He stumbled out of bed and walked to his writing desk where his laptop sat. He sat down in the chair and pulled the chain to his small desk lamp. The tired Spaniard looked at his laptop to see who could be calling.
"Ring Ring."
"Huh? Why is Lovi calling me?" Not that he minded. He clicked the 'call answer' button and Romano appeared on the screen. "Hola Lovi~ Is something wrong?"
"No bastard. I just couldn't sleep dammit." His real reason was because he just wanted to hear S

GerIta: Heartbeat
Germany got into bed and was just about to fall asleep when a familiar warmth filled up the bed next to him. He flipped onto his other side and, not surprisingly, found Italy laying next him. He watched as Italy performed his nightly ritual of starting on his right side, then changing to the left, then laying on his stomach, then his back, then finally deciding that the best place to sleep was snuggled up next to Germany with his head buried in Germany's chest. Germany naturally rested his arm across Italy's back and started to fall back asleep, until Italy spoke up.
"Vee~ Germany?"
"Hm?" he grunted slightly annoyed.
"Why does your hear
